MARGARET RIVER ~ CONGRATS KERRZY!

Rusty team rider Josh Kerr has been on a terror in the contests down under, taking 2nd place this past weekend at the Margaret River Drug Aware Pro in Australia! Kerrzy was able to blaze through heats to make it to his second final in three weeks!

Kerrzy was up against Hawaiian charger Dusty Pane in the finals, and despite an incredible display of surfing power, Kerrzy was inched out of the first place spot taking home the 2nd place win. Kerrzy now gets to add to his collection of growing Margaret River Pro trophies (he won in 2010 as well) and prep for the next stop.

Be sure to check back for the latest Rusty team rider news and info!

Click on the photo above to see the gallery from the event...

This post weekend Transworld Surf Magazine and SurfRide Board shop put on Camp Shred, the world's largest surf demo at the San Elijo campgrounds in Cardiff Ca. The event went off with tons of people and families joining in to test out the latest in surfboards, wetsuits, fins, skateboards and more!

The event helps bring people to the California state park and help spread awareness and raise funds for the CA state park program. Rusty was on hand to stoke out the crowds of surfers wanting to try the latest shapes and designs. We spent the weekend hooking up our test pilots with custom made hats, stickers, and posters. A little sun burnt but it was awesome to see how many people made it out to support and test out all the surf gear.

Thanks to everyone who made it down to join us and Transworld Surf Magazine and  SurfRide Board shop for putting on such an amazing event for everyone involved!

While the world's best surfers were slugging it out to push through their heats just over the hill, Noa decided to see what he could knock out in a 35-minute freesurf at D-Bah.

He ended up landing four of these in that time, each with it's own stylish flare! Check it out here at Surfline.com and enjoy

WEEKEND ~ UPDATE

Congrats to Rusty team riders Mikey Ciaramella and Jack Brandon for blowing up at the NSSA contests on both coasts!

Mikey Ciaramella pushed his way through to make the final and take the win at the NSSA College Men's state Championships this weekend in HB, taking down a list of talented surfers to take home the trophy! This is one of the biggest wins of Mikey's surfing career and we're stoked everyone got to see what Mikey can put together during a heat.

Jack Brandon also flared up in the water over the weekend taking a 1st place, and 3rd place win in his respective divisions at the NSSA contest in Florida. Jack spent the day battling weak surf and the blazing sun to take home the win. He was able to link enough together to get the points and make it through, look for him to keep the results showing up into the Easterns coming up in 2 weeks!
