The 2009 Surf Industry Manufacturers Association (SIMA) Image Awards are just around the corner and the GTR has been nominated for the prestigious title Surfboard Model of the Year! The goal of the SIMA Image Awards is to identify the surf industry's most influential companies and recognize them for their efforts to advance and grow the industry over the past year.     My friend has tha board. Works like a beauty. The sad part was that like after a month of using it, he went all the way up to bali, and when he went to the bukit (DREAMLAND, BINGIN, ULUWATU, IMPOSSIBLES) he told me the 2nd day the whole front part snapped in half. Little bit weak in the front. Overall awesome board, tons of joy.

    Love this board, I have had it for 3 months now, and there's not one ding in it and I surf about 4 days a week. Great performance and couldn't be happier with a board.
