Sacred Craft Surf Expo 2009 has something for everyone from board demo's to seminars to artwork to music. One of this years' main attraction is the Vintage Surfboard Antique Road Show event, taking place on Saturday October 10th from 10am - 1pm.

"We are urging surfers to dig through their garages, their storage space, and their backyards for collectible surfboards and magazines that they think may hold some real value," explained expo director Scott Bass. "Anything special and unique from say, 1985 or so and earlier, especially if it is in good shape, probably has value above and beyond normal used-board pricing. Our expert appraisers can determine a estimated value."

Special events are being planned around and during the Sacred Craft Expo weekend. First off, make sure to get down to 15th St. for the TransWorld Surf's Sacred Craft Magical Morning Board Demo. The general surfing public is invited to 15th St. reef in Del Mar on Saturday October 10th from 7am - 10am. Come on down and try out boards and wetsuits from Sacred Craft exhibitors. The Sacred Craft Surf Expo opens its doors immediately following the TransWorld Surf's Sacred Craft Magical Morning Board Demo.

You will want to be at the expo early! The first 100 attendees in the door will be put in a special "early bird" drawing for a brand new Firewire Fish Surfboard. Great odds! And no wonder, just a few doors down from the DM racetrack!

Musicians will play on the outdoors stage all weekend long. Various groups are scheduled including Australian longboard champion Beau Young, Miles Kinney, Tower 7, FiveAlive (a YardBirds cover band), the acoustic stylings of Kevin White, and Future Fins brand ambassador Phil 'Boo' Stubbs.

On Saturday Oct 10, make sure to stay around and check out a special Sacred Craft premier screening of the new Australian documentary film, "Searching for Michael Peterson."
